Field Days
Native Plant Field Days at Yuruga Nursery
Have you been to one of our famous Native Plant Field Days?
Yuruga Field Days are packed full of expert advice and practical information on planting, watering, mulching, pruning, fertilising, attracting birds and butterflies, and generally establishing a native garden successfully in the tropics, including how to cope with cyclones.
Yuruga Field Days are generally held in January each year to coincide with the Australia Day weekend, Yungaburra markets, the end of the school holidays, and the start of the wet season.
Yuruga Field Days are famous for the fantastic range of plants for sale on the day! The Field Day stocklist is published on our website on the Friday evening before so you can plan your shopping in advance.
Entry to the Field Day Program is FREE of charge.
Lunch and light refreshments are available throughout the day.
Bring a hat, wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella just in case of rain.
